Two great gaming phones will swallow up the other smartphones at their competiting price in the world, having the best processor, providing the best performance entirely made with the gamers mind.
Acer's presentation at IFA 2015 was truly action-packed with a sea of device announcements. The Taiwanese tech giant is now putting a lot of emphasis on its new gaming device lineup. Dubbed "Predator", it is only a few months old and yet already has some impressive devices to offer.
On stage at Berlin, the Predator lineup was expanded with a powerful laptops, desktop PCs and gaming monitors, but Acer is branching out even further to mobile gamers with a tablet – the Predator 8 and a gamer smartphone – the Predator 6. Both are flashy devices, which in typical gaming fashion are adorned with an aggressive body with straight lines.
The Predator 6 phone has both the looks and specs to impress and blow away any Android game out of the ball park. It is equipped with a large 6-inch display and some whopping 4GB or RAM. It also runs on a beastly deca-core MediaTek processor (yes that is "deca" as in ten, most probably the Helio X20). Not much else is known about the unit's specs sheet, except that its camera sensor will offer an impressive resolution of 21MP.
Also, we expect that just like the Predator 8 tablet, which was also announced during the presentation, the predator phone will have special control and feedback features, specifically designed to improve gaming. As for the tablet, it has an 8.0-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 2GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of onboard storage. Powering it is an Intel Atom X7-Z8700 processor, which is incredibly powerful for a tablet and is bundled with capable Gen. 8-LP Intel HD Graphics, that will surely give the NVidia Shield a run for its money.
Pricing and availability are still unclear, but there was mention of a September release for the tablet, so perhaps the Predator 6 will come shortly after the launch of predator 8.
