Moto Z and Moto Z Force

The new trend of modular smartphones has begun to flourish in the global market from the release of LG G5 in February 2016 to the 2 new smartphones announced by Lenovo named as 'Motorola Moto Z' and 'Motorola Moto Z Force' which are much more modular than the LG G5. After the unveil of these smartphones a day before yesterday I thought to take some time and research about the same. The pricing of these is said to start from $499 and will be available to consumers from September 2016. The 16 dots on the rear bottom of the device connects different types of mods made by different developers in the name of 'Moto mods'. There were 4 different mods shown by the company at the launch named as 'Style shell, Power shell, JBL SoundBoost, Insta Share Projector'. There's also a concept of Virtual Keyboard mod in the future for these devices. There will also be more mods available in the future since developers are working on it to provide the best experience to the users. Let me tell you in brief about these 4 mods:-

1. Style shell- These are the normal back covers with different textures to make the users feel of wooden, leather, etc. and feel good in hand.
2. Power shell- This mod provides extra power of 2200mAH which adds to the existing 2600mAh in Moto Z or 3500mAh in Moto Z Force. After the battery dies, the mod can be charged by the phone's charger when plugged in.
3. JBL SoundBoost- This mod boots up the power of the speaker present with its own speaker providing better soumd quality even at noisy places.
4. Insta Share Projector- This mod is the most stunning one from the all of the above mods as it provides facility to instantly project the device's screen on the wall upto 70 inches. Also it provides additional battery life upto 1 hour of projection but after the battery dies it will run from the phone's battery.

Now let's discuss about the features of these 2 devices. The features are mostly identical to each other but with minor changes. Let's see them below:-
